Toddler Sing-Along, ongoing in Arlington

Held on the first and third Fridays of each month. A fun half-hour of music and movement appropriate for newborns through about age four. No signups or tickets needed

At the Calvary Church, 300 Mass. Ave., Arlington (the white church with the red doors near Spy Pond). It's on the right just after Walgreen's as you leave Arlington Center heading toward Cambridge. An elevator is available for easy access to the second-floor room -- strollers are welcome.

Starts promptly at 10 a.m., lasts 30 minutes. (Any longer and we'd have to call it the Fuss-Along.) Admission $1 per person. Information: 781-648-3719.

Wednesday, April 9, Hopkinton Public Library

Saturday, April 26, New England Folk Festival

Diane will play a solo set and also one of French music with Lynn Noel, as "Les Bostonnaises" (The Girls from Boston) at this three-day festival. Both sets happen on Saturday evening. Lots more details available at www.neffa.org.

Saturday, May 3, Wake Up the Earth Festival

The Gloucester Hornpipe & Clog Society is part of this spring festival of music and dance, street theater, childrenšs activities, food, drum circles, and more! From noon to 5:00 p.m. in the Stony Brook section of the Southwest Corridor Park, along Lamartine between Boylston and New Minton Streets in Jamaica Plain. The band plays at noon.
